When you add CBD oil onto the mix it ENHANCES such benefits.

When you book with us you customize your massage based off your needs.  Here is a list and description of the different modalities to choice from at JJ’s Organics:

Swedish:

Swedish massage has become the traditional form of massage therapy found around the country.  This type of massage targets muscles, glands, circulation, and nerves to relax and produce various health benefits. You can choice from light, moderate or firm.

Aromatherapy:

Aromatherapy massage employs specific scents from essential oils in order to enhance the massage session. The therapist chooses essential oils based upon the needs of the client to relieve stress or treat other conditions.  Some oils may be applied to the skin to further enhance healing.  This is used in conjunction with other modalities, including Swedish, acupressure, and reflexology.  All essential oils are Young Living Essential Oils.

Raindrop Technique:

Rejuvenate the mind and balance the body.  Young Living’s Raindrop Technique combines unique, targeted massage and energy approaches with pure, authentic essential oils for a deeply harmonized, rejuvenating, and relaxing experience.  The technique, developed by Young Living Founder and CEO Gary Young, draws from his experience with Native American wellness traditions and provides a revolutionary means of nurturing harmony-physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Deep Tissue:

Deep tissue massage is used for more significant problems, such as chronically tight muscles, strains, and injury.  This modality of massage is not just a deeper version of a Swedish massage; instead, it utilizes its own special techniques and strokes to generate the client’s goals from the session.  Our Therapists target the deeper levels of the muscles and the connective tissue to promote healing.

Myofascial Release:

Myofascial Release is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.

Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)

The use of Myofascial Release allows us to look at each patient as a unique individual. Our one-on-one therapy sessions are hands-on treatments during which our therapist, Jennifer Pritchett, uses a multitude of Myofascial Release techniques and movement therapy. We promote independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, self treatment instruction, enhancement of strength, improved flexibility, and postural and movement awareness.

Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils, creams or machinery. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.

JJ’s Organics is proud to have Jennifer Pritchett in our facility who has received in-depth education on the Myofascial Release Approach.

Hot Stone:

Hot stone massage incorporates the use of hot stones as a way to warm and loosen the tight muscles to facilitate the massage.  The stones may also be used during the massage to apply pressure to the tight areas of the body.

Reflexology:

Reflexology is another massage based on acupressure concepts, but if focuses solely on the hands and feet.  Its basis is the benefit that the life’s energy and meridians correspond to points on the hands and feet, so by massaging these areas, you can increase the flow around the body and reduce complaints.

Couples Massage:

A couples massage means that you and your special someone will share a massage bonding experience together.  There will be two massage tables and two therapists-your therapists will coordinate your massages so they begin, progress and end at the same time. When you receive a couples massage at JJ’s Organics your body releases oxytocin, the “love hormone” that creates a sense of affection and love.  When you get a couples massage here love is literally in the air (and the bloodstream).  Increased affection is one of the biggest benefits of a couples massage. This pairs with a perfect evening for two and makes a terrific romantic gift.

Trigger Point Therapy:

Trigger point therapy is an alternative therapy, the benefits include a focus on detecting and releasing trigger points.  Located in the skeletal muscle, trigger points are spots that produce pain when compressed.  In many cases, trigger points are a result of trauma to the muscle fibers.  Trigger point therapy is primarily used for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.  Helps relieve pain associated with plantar heel.  Trigger point therapy has shown improved motor function and other symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease.

Energy Healing:

Energy healing provides relief through muscle manipulation and targeting bodily energies and whole body wellness.  This taps into ancient Chinese healing practices and the knowledge that a balance of energies and the spirit-mind-body connection is essential in balancing the individual as a whole.

CranioSacral:

Craniosacral is a type of bodywork that relieves compression in the bones of the head, lower back, and spinal column. It uses gentle pressure on the head, neck, and back that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage:

Lymphatic Drainage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body.  The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues.  Lymphatic drainage massages can benefit people with lymphedema, fibromyalgia, and other conditions.

Prenatal:

Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care.  It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness.  Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, like backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and swelling. Massages for pregnant woman reduce stress on weight-bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, helps to relax nervous tension-which aids in better sleep-and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.

Woman with normal, low-risk pregnancies can benefit greatly from the variety of massage techniques offered by JJ’s Organics massage therapists.  However, woman in high-risk pregnancies should consult with their doctor or midwife before receiving a massage with us.
